  • Legacy Tent -Veterans History Project

    Honor our Veterans.

    Record their histories!

New this year is the Legacy Tent, where we will have available times to video veterans, for the Library of Congress Veterans History Project. Interested veterans will answer prewritten questions from the Library of Congress with an interviewer. The completed tape is sent to the Library of Congress for permanent documentation and we show on local tv if they agree.

The Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress collects, preserves and makes accessible the firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans who served from World War I through more recent conflicts and peacekeeping missions, so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand what they saw, did and felt during their service" Click here for samples of veterans who've already participated.
